What Has Feminism Done for Computers Lately?

Some say not much.

But this is a pretty diverse paper that touches on some interesting thoughts. Like how do objects (like computers) become gendered anyways? How did women, who were early software pioneers in the 1950's, end up getting pushed out of an entire industry?
